What are the timings for the dinner?
6.45pm Arrival of dinner guests
Reception drinks in foyer area and Victoria Bar
VIP reception on balcony for finalist companies and corporate sponsors
7.30pm Dinner is served
8.30pm Arrival of balcony guests
10pm Awards ceremony commences
11.30pm Formal proceedings close
1.30am Carriages
When will I recieve the invitations?
The invitations will be sent out in March and the beginning of April once we have your guest's names.
What is the latest date for any name changes?
We will accept name changes until 6pm on 11th April. Changes made less than two weeks prior to the Awards are unlikely to be correct in the printed literature due to our print deadlines.
What is the dress code?
Black tie (cocktail or evening dress for ladies).
Is a free cloakroom service provided?
Yes, in the kiosk to the right hand side of the reception desk.
Can I request that guests at my table are seated in a specific order?
Yes, if you provide us with a table plan. We will place the guests clockwise around the table with the first guest having their back to the stage.
How do I ensure my dietary requirements are catered for?
We will send a copy of the menu with the request for guest's names in mid March. Please inform us of any special dietary requirments including vegetarians, at theis stage. Due to the restricted facilities at the hall, we respectfully request that guests do not ask for a vegetarian meal if it has not been pre-ordered.
How much table wine is included?
1/2 bottle per person. For a table of 12 this is allocated as 3 bottles of red wine and 3 bottles of white wine. For a table of 10 this is allocated as 3 bottles of red wine and 2 bottles of white wine.
Can additional drinks be purchased on the night?
Yes, wine waiters will be on hand during the dinner and the bar will be open throughout the evening. Details about pre-ordering and setting up a credit account for drinks will be sent.
Is is possible to book taxis from the De Montfort Hall?
Yes, there are public telephones in the foyer although we strongly recommend booking in advance.
Is there an official photographer?
Yes, there are photos taken of each winner recieving their Award on stage. At the end of the ceremony all finalists are called into the Flying Spur Bar for group photos. The photos can be viewed and purchased at the debrief meeting for each finalist following the Awards, or alternatively call WOW Effect.
Can any guest have photos taken?
Yes, these can be requested following the winners' and finalists' photos. You will be contacted about viewing and purchasing the photographs following the Awards.
