2010 marks seventeen years of the Leicestershire Business Awards recognising and celebrating business success across our county. Twenty companies eagerly await the announcement of the selected finalists, all hoping to join the ranks of over 100 winners, including Westleigh Developments, Mark Group, and Pall-Ex (UK) Ltd who since 1993 have enjoyed the unique benefits that awards victory can bring.

 

Judges will now visit each of the finalists in their category to see how the businesses work day-to-day.  The shortlisted companies are now eagerly awaiting the Gala Dinner on 23rd April crossing their fingers that they might be the Leicestershire Business of the Year winner, sponsored by Business Link.

 

Commenting on the awards, former sponsor, regular attendee and current judge, Patric Phelan of Vantis said “2010 has welcomed some very exciting applications making it very difficult to shortlist the finalists for this year’s awards. Together with a change of venue to the fabulous new Legends Suite at the Leicester Tigers, this year’s awards are looking to be the biggest and best yet! I am sure that I and many others are looking forward to seeing an array of Leicestershire’s brightest business stars on the night”.

 

An audience of over nearly 600 local business people are expected at the gala dinner, for which there are only a limited number of dinner places remaining.
